What advantages do we gain from better Meteorological Information?
The implementation of automated data acquisition, the introduction of new meteorological hazard information data, and the application of the developing International Weather Information Exchange Model (IWXXM) will provide a common format for weather data, enabling integration with aeronautical information systems. The integration of meteorological data with other systems will enable real-time provision of that data and compiled meteorological information directly to users, on the ground and in the air.
