The New Southern Sky Stakeholders’ Showcase was held on Thursday, March 21 in Wellington, with heartfelt thanks to all participants. A special thank you to MetService for hosting the post-event reception.

The event was opened by Director Civil Aviation/Chief Executive Civil Aviation Authority – Keith Manch.

Key speakers at the event emphasised the critical role of stakeholder collaboration in driving successful programmes, sharing personal insights and experiences. Photographs of the event speakers have been posted below for those who missed the Showcase.

One of the highlights was the discussion around the modernisation efforts undertaken, which has delivered the state-of-the-art aviation infrastructure envisaged by the National Airspace and Air Navigation Plan. The focus now shifts towards the next era of system development, as outlined in the recent Air Navigation System Review report.

Look out for the upcoming publication of the NSS Benefits Report, which will be available soon on the NSS and Authority websites. This report promises to provide valuable insights into the benefits accrued from the New Southern Sky initiative.

A special acknowledgement goes out to the former NSS team members who volunteered their time and effort to make the Stakeholders’ Showcase a success - well done team!
